Puget Sound includes two main regions. The central Puget Sound area of Snohomish, King, Pierce, and Kitsap Counties has the largest number of nonprofits in Washington. Each of these counties has a community foundation supporting the nonprofits in their county. The second region is the south Puget Sound area of Mason, Lewis and Thurston Counties.
