Nonprofits should never have to play tax collectors when raising funds to support their vital work. Thanks to the efforts of Washington Nonprofits and our partners, donors will not have to pay sales tax on auction items and raffle prizes at nonprofit fundraisers. We worked hard last legislative session to make sure The Nonprofit and Library Fundraiser Tax Exemption is permanent and officially part of the Washington Administrative Code.
